Vetaceph impairs bacterial cell wall synthesis by inhibiting the enzyme traspeptidase that is responsible for cross-linking of peptidoglycans.  Effective against all major Gram positive and Gram negative organisms.

Special feature :

Vetaceph can be reconstituted with Sterile water.  Dextrose 5% to 10% solution, 0.9% sodium chloride solution, Metronidazole HCI (5.0 - 7.5 mg / ml).

Third Generation Cephalosporin with irreversible Beta-lactamase inhibitor

Ceftriaxone : Ceftriaxone is bactericidal in action.  the bactericidal activity of ceftriaxone results from inhibition of cell wall synthesis.

Sulbactum : It is a potent, highly specific irreversible inhibitor of beta-lactamase producted by bacteria .  By forming a protein complex with beta-lactamases, Sulbactum irreversibly blocks their destructive hydrolytic activity.

Thus, the full potential of Ceftriaxone is restored by the addition of sulbactum.

Unimycin inhibits bacterial synthesis by combining mainly with 30 S ribosomal subunit.

Highly effective against Gram -ve bacteria.

Indications :

Gynacological infections like Endometrities, Metritis and Pyometra Mastitis (Coliform mastitis), Diarrhoea, Enteritis, Bacilary diarrhoea in sheep, Vibrio enteritis in cattle.

Enrocare inhibit the bacterial enzyme DNA-gyrase (topoisomerase) that is responsible for supercoiling of DNA.  Effective against both Gram Positive and Gram negative bacteria (E.coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, shigella, Actinobacillosis, Vibrio, Campylobactor, Proteus, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, clostridium, Corynebacterium, Mycoplasma)
